Attic Insulation

Attic insulation rebate up to $2 (R-38) or $2.50 (R-49) per Square Foot.

Maximum Rebates:

    $5,000 - Single Family Residences

    $2,000 - Apartments/Condominiums

Heat Pump Water Heater

Full cost of equipment (installation not included). $2,000 maximum. One per customer.

HVAC Mini-Splits

HVAC Mini-split AC/Heater rebate is up to $4,000 per compressor, and not to exceed $3,000 a ton. Maximum of $50,000 per customer. Maximum of 2 units per electrical account.

Smart Thermostat

This program will provide rebates to customers who purchase and install a smart thermostat in their home. Maximum of two (2) thermostat units per Groton Utilities and Bozrah Light and Power account.

Home Energy Savings Program  

Groton Utilities residential Home Energy Savings Program provides a free comprehensive in-home energy assessment service for your dwelling which may include the following services.

Air Sealing to prevent drafts and leaks in the house

Duct testing and sealing

Installation of low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators to save water

Installation of energy-efficient LED light bulbs

Incentives for insulation upgrades
