SolarPlus Energy Program
Groton Utilities is excited to announce the launch of the SolarPlus Energy Program, a new pilot initiative aimed at promoting the installation of stand-alone residential solar power systems and such systems coupled with battery energy storage. This program has been designed to assist local homeowners in making cleaner energy choices.
The SolarPlus program offers a substantial one-time incentive of up to $10,000 for customers who choose to install a solar or a combined solar and battery system. The exact incentive amount will vary based on the specifications of the solar array and battery technology installed.
To ensure fair access to incentives, participants will be selected on a first come, first serve selection process, which opens on January 31, 2025.
