Received Letter from Groton Utilities

As part of the Lead Service Line Inventory Project a certain number of residents will receive a letter from Groton Utilities regarding the potential of a lead service line being connected to their residence. If you have received such a letter the resources on this page will help you proceed as we look to help in remedying the situation.

There are three different letter types that will be sent to residents

  1. Lead - Residence has been identified as potentially having a lead service line
  2. GRR - Residence has been identified as potentially having galvanized requiring replacement (GRR) service line
  3. Unknown - Service line is made of unknown material
