How do I apply for services?

Fill out the application and send via fax at 860-446-0183 or via email to have your electric and/or water account activated. Groton Utilities requires a minimum of two business days prior to your move date.

You no longer have to come into the office.

When submitting your application, be sure to have the following information:

  • Copy of lease, if applicable
  • Security Deposit - All customers are subject to a credit check to determine Security Deposit. A Customer Service Representative will contact you after receipt of the application and copy of the lease, if applicable.
  • The exact address for service, including the apartment number
  • Valid phone number
  • Employer information
