Certifications

The regulatory agency for Groton Utilities’ Water Division is the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health. The state agency has specific guidelines for certification of operating staff. All Groton Utilities’ Water Division Operators have the minimum required certification or greater. GU encourages and supports continuing education of all staff.
