Can you
come to my school?

We’d
like to go to every school, but yours must be within our
service district. See the bottom of this page for more
details. |

Groton Utilities is active in our community
in many ways. We conduct educational sessions in our public
schools, participate in community activities like City Day,
offer tours at our Water Treatment Plant, celebrate Public Power
Week and Earth Day, and are active in the Groton Division of the
Association of Chambers of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut of
Southeastern Connecticut.
Groton Utilities believes that today’s
children are tomorrow’s customers. Education is the key to
making our children better citizens and, in our case, better,
wiser customers. Our Water Division personnel conduct classes on
water quality throughout the year.
Tours
Due to heightened security, we limit tours and activity
within our watershed. We do however, continue to provide tours
of our Water Treatment Facility. Tours can be arranged by
calling (860) 446-4000.
