Groton Utilities operates a Customer Care Center at 295 Meridian Street in the City of Groton. If you are a new customer, please come to the Center where a Customer Care Representative will initiate the necessary steps for you to obtain electric or water service, or both. Hours of Operation

The Customer Care Center is open during normal business hours from Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8am until noon except for holidays. We post a “Closing of Offices” notice in The Day newspaper when holidays affect our normal business hours.

Our Project Management unit is located at the Julio H. Leandri Operations Center on Poquonnock Road and is open during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. except for holidays.
